Sustainable cementitious blends for strength enhancement of dredged mud in Queensland, Australia

چکیده
Cement is commonly used as a stabilisation material in soft soil stabilisation. However, the use of cement can cause environmental issues, production results high emission carbon dioxide (CO 2 ). Hence, it essential to develop other suitable materials reduce amount soil. Fly ash and DuraCrete (blended cement) were investigated this study be partial replacements for traditional cement-only mixes. The behaviour specimens stabilised using cement, fly under both unconfined compressive consolidated isotropic undrained conditions was study. experimental proved that cement. provide highest reduction terms percentage Meanwhile, more cost effective, relatively smaller quantity replace correspondingly larger similar strength gain. contribution research engineers with alternative, sustainable design mixes readily satisfy requirements while emitting less dioxide.

Development of Sustainable Cementitious Materials
In this paper, two types of sustainable cementitious composites, geopolymer and magnesium phosphate cement, are introduced. The geopolymer is a type of amorphous alumino-silicate products and magnesium cement is MgO based cementitious material. Geopolymer can be synthesized by polycondensation reaction of geopolymeric precursor, and alkali polysilicates. The MgO cement can be obtained by proper...

This document presents a formal abstract syntax in Z for fragments in the CARE language. Constraints are included which deene the \semantic checks" which deene well-formedness of fragments.

We have recently extended the sequential refinement calculus to handle real-time programs. A novel deadline command allows execution time limits to be expressed in a high-level language. The calculus allows refinement steps that separate timing constraints from non-timing requirements. Rules are provided for handling timing constraints, but the refinement of components implementing non-timing r...

This paper presents a framework for compositional verification of Object-Z specifications. Its key feature is a proof rule based on decomposition of hierarchical Object-Z models. For each component in the hierarchy local properties are proven in a single proof step. However, we do not consider components in isolation. Instead, components are envisaged in the context of the referencing super-com...

The demands placed on programmers by the needs of safety-critical systems mandate the use of formal methods, supported by an integrated toolkit, throughout software development. Many formal speciication, design and veriication techniques have been proposed in the past. As the next step in the maturation of these techniques we are aiming to integrate previously disparate methods. Our overall met...
